In Positano, Alessandro built his cliffside atelier and met Margaret, a Savannah native who arrived with a restless heart and never left. Together, they raised their daughter, Lucia, in a home that smelled of espresso, salt air, and soft bolts of linen.
Margaret loved the artisan craft but always dreamed of bringing the effortless feeling of an Italian summer to the women back home. Before she passed, she asked one thing of her family: a promise to take the dresses to America, where she knew they belonged.
Today, Alessandro and Lucia have crossed the ocean together to fulfill that dream. Alessandro remains the devoted craftsman, while Lucia carries her mother's vision forward. Every Vetucci dress carries the warmth of the Mediterranean, our family legacy, and the quiet beauty of a promise kept.

How Your Dress Is Made
Every dress passes through Alessandro's hands. Here is how we do it.
We Pick the Fabric
We pick our linen for how it moves in the breeze and not just how it looks in a photo. Only the best fabric makes it into our shop so your dress feels light and easy.
We Cut by Hand
Alessandro cuts every piece by hand using skills he has practiced for forty years. He is careful with every line to make sure the fit is just right for you.
We Sew with Care
Our dresses are sewn by hand by people who learned from their mothers. We don't use machines or take shortcuts because we believe good things take time.
We Finish with Love
Alessandro presses every hem himself before a dress is sent to you. Nothing leaves our shop until he is happy with the work.
